Tuckers Clay: Dark Mid Cal 5 - Cone 5/6

A plastic, all-purpose, fire-clay based clay body that throws and builds well. The addition of 5% 35-mesh grog aids in the production of large pieces and ease of drying. This body is very similar to Mid Cal 5 but fires to a darker brown color at Cone 6 oxidation. The higher iron content helps some glazes to develop richer shades.
