About the Artist...

 Hello and Welcome!

My name is Jamie, and I am the owner and artist behind Ridgeline Ceramics.  I began working with clay in 2017 after taking a beginner wheel throwing class in Troy, NY.   This class led to more classes, a studio membership and eventually several years as a working member in a local studio which is where I learned how to run a membership studio.  While I have experience with many aspects of ceramics, my speciality is wheel throwing and glaze development.   I make many of my own glazes and love to experiment with layering.

 I work out of my home studio in upstate NY and in 2025, opened a membership studio at 10N Main st. bldg 3A in Voorheesville, NY which is open to the public (with experience).  We hold many classes and workshops as well as provide firing services.

  I primarily work with stoneware and typically fire to Cone 5-6.  Every piece is uniquely hand crafted from start to finish.  I do take custom orders and special requests when able.  Follow me on instagram or reach out via ridgelineceramics.com.
