Try the Wheel Class : Saturday, September 19th 6:00-7:30pm

Try the wheel at Ridgeline Ceramics!  This is a one-night class where participants will be able to try wheel throwing for only $75!  This is an instructor led class where you will be taught many of the basics of wheel throwing.  

This class is for you if: 

• You are curious about wheel throwing and want to give it a try or you feel you could use a refresher on some of the basics.
• You want to try something new, meet some new people and have fun!

What you will learn

• How to sit at the wheel and basic operating instructions
• Wedging clay; what it is and why its important
• How to center clay; "coning up and down"
• How to open the clay and pull walls

Student are permitted to keep 1 pot each if one is made.  You will choose your favorite glaze and your instructor will finish the piece for you.

***Note: Since this is a one-night only class, you may not be able to make a pot as wheel throwing is a skill that typically requires practice.

Your pots will be fired and returned in about 3-4 weeks for pick up in our pottery pick up box right outside at your convenience.  Your instructor will e-mail the class when ready.

SHIPPING OPTION

If you would like your pots to be shipped to you, we will pack and ship your pots for a flat fee that includes postage, packaging materials and labor.  We ship within the northeast only.  Please note: We take extra care to package your pots carefully, however risk of breakage is still possible.  Ridgeline ceramics is not responsible for lost or damaged pots.  Shipping is non-refundable.

Please note: Cancellations are accepted for a full refund up to 48 hours before class.  Refunds are not given for day before or same day cancellations.  No shows will not be refunded.
