This is a wheel-thrown teapot made out of a cream stoneware and glazed in Rainbow. All aspects of this teapot were thrown on the wheel separately and attached by hand. This teapot pours great! Recommend to hold the lid when pouring.
Please note that this is a 100% handmade item from start to finish. Slight imperfections are normal and should be expected.
This teapot was fired to a bisque (first firing) temperature of approximately 1960*F. After glazing, was fired again to 2160*F in an oxidation atmosphere to create stoneware.
This teapot is food, dishwasher and microwave safe
