Private Throwing Session 90 Minutes

These private sessions are 90 minutes in length and are $75 per person for non-members.  If you are a studio member, you get 20% off.  Please contact Jamie for the Members Only direct link.

  This is the perfect class for a total beginner who might need an introduction to ceramics before signing up for a studio membership or if you have something specific that you want to work on.  Please note- if you do not have experience, more than 1 session will be needed if you want to learn the basics of wheel throwing. These sessions allow you to pay as you go and fit lessons into your own schedule as opposed to being on a fixed class schedule. 

Some topics may include:

• Coning up and down, opening the clay, pulling walls
• How to make specific forms (bowls, tall vases, double walled forms, trimming, mug handles etc.)

 Clay will be provided for the purposes of the lesson.  Studio members may return to trim and glaze their pieces.  If you are not a studio member, additional slots must be scheduled for you to complete your pieces.
 

Re-scheduling requires at least 2 hours advanced notice. Lessons may not be refunded but may be rescheduled. Please contact the studio if you have any questions or concerns.
