This is a Pre-order for a wheel thrown mug made out of a black stoneware and glazed in “Summer Berry”. The phrase “Absolutely the Fuck Not” is stamped into the mug and inlaid with white underglaze. Please note there are tiny white flecks of naturally occurring grog in this clay body.
Please allow 10-12 weeks for delivery.
This mug will be fired to a bisque (first firing) temperature of approximately 1960*F. After glazing, was fired again to 2160*F to create stoneware. A third firing of around 1,000*F occurred after applying the liquid luster top coating for adherence.
This mug is food, dishwasher and microwave safe but handwashing is strongly recommended.
