This is a wheel thrown mug made out of a speckled brown reclaimed stoneware and glazed in a beautiful floating pastel salmon pink that fades into blue . The phrase “Absolutely the Fuck Not” was stamped into the mug and inlaid with white underglaze.
This mug was fired to a bisque (first firing) temperature of approximately 1960*F. After glazing, was fired again to 2160*F to create stoneware. A third lower temperature firing then occurred to permanently adhere the decals to the mug
