This listing is for the purchase of a full kiln load in SKUTT KMT-1027-3 model kilns. Fired to either Bisque, cone 5 or 6. Other programs may be accommodated at an additional charge.

Please take note of the approximate time it takes for each firing plus cooldown and plan accordingly. Please also note that staff are not always present on site and there may be slight delays with unloading. Pick up times will be communicatedand we will do our best to accommodate your schedule.
Bisque firing plus cooldown takes 24-36 hours
Glaze Firing plus cooldown takes about 24 hours
TIMELINES: If you need your pieces fired by specific dates, Ridgeline ceramics requires at least 14 days notice in order to accommodate firing schedules. It is your responsibility to purchase and communicate your timeline to the studio upon drop off arrangement. If you fail to do this, the studio may not be able to meet your timeline. Refunds are not provided for missed dates for any reason.
EXPEDITED TURN AROUND: For an additional fee, the studio may be able to turn your pieces around within 1 week. This requires direct communication with Studio Owner. Please email Jamie at mountainpottery099@gmail.com. If your turnaround time is less than 2 weeks, you MUST select the expedited option or your firing will not take place until balance is paid in full up front.
PLEASE NOTE! Firing ceramics is a highly variable process and results are not guaranteed. Ridgeline Ceramics is not responsible for any damage or loss during the loading/unloading or firing process for any reason. This includes but is not limited to: cracking, crazing, glaze-dripping or other imperfections, warping, accidental breakage, explosions etc. By purchasing firing services you are agreeing to these terms
You must fill out a firing form prior to dropping your pieces off. This will be e-mailed to you once your purchase is confirmed. Paper forms will also be available in the studio.
All pieces must have your Maker's Mark on them somewhere, otherwise staff may not know that piece belongs to you!
PLEASE WIPE ALL BOTTOMS! All bottoms must be completely free of glaze and should have wax resist applied. Pots easily stick to shelves and your pot could be destroyed and kiln damage may result.
Ridgeline Ceramics staff will use drip catchers for any glaze thickly applied or very close to the bottom. This is to protect our shelves and also saves many pots!
Refunds are not given for any reason once your pots have been placed in the kiln. If all items dropped off to be fired do not fit, you will be contacted and charged separately for each individual piece.
