This is a 12 cup wheel thrown serving bowl that was thrown on the potters wheel using recycled clay scraps that were collected over time and re-hydrated then mixed, dried and re-wedged into workable clay. No two batches of recycle are never the same, making this a truly unique and one of a kind piece.
This bowl was fired to a bisque temperature of approximately 1960*F glazed and fired again to 2160*F to create stoneware.
