Throwing a Planter on the Potter's Wheel & Glaze Decorating 3-part Workshop

Ridgelie Ceramics is hosting a DIY Planter Throwing and decorating workshop!  This class will be limited to 6 and participants MUST have wheel throwing experience to participate. This class is for you if you can throw a bowl and or cylinder on the potters wheel.  Planters can be as large or as small as you want and you can make as may as you choose in the alloted time!  Your instructor will guide you through demonstrations and assist you with your planters during class.

Please note: refunds are not given if participants sign up and fail to read the description regarding the required experience necessary.

Week 1: We will throw our planters on the potter's wheel.  You may make as many as you can in the 2 hour time slot using up to 5Lbs of clay per planter.

Week 2: Surface decoration week!  This week we will trim our planters, carve out drip holes and do any optional surface decorating or carving.  The studio has many cookie cutters, molds and forms for decorating!  Your pots will be bisque fired and returned for week 3 glazing!

Week 3:  GLAZING! We will spend the whole time prepping out planters and glazing using premium glazes.  Yout planters will be fired and returned within 2-3 weeks.

Please note: Cancellations are accepted for a full refund up to 48 hours before class.  Refunds are not given for day before or same day cancellations.  No show will not be refunded.
