This is a wheel thrown mug set made out of black stoneware and glazed in a floating midnight blue. 22k gold luster dots were applied by hand and cascade around the mug.
This mug is food safe. Do not microwave

This mug was fired to a bisque (first firing) temperature of approximately 1960*F. After glazing, was fired again to 2160*F to create stoneware. It was then fired a third time to a low temperature to allow the gold luster to permanently adhere to the mug.
