This is a wheel thrown mug made out of a speckled cream stoneware and glazed in pastel rainbow. The phrase “Absolutely the Fuck Not” was stamped into the mug and inlaid with black underglaze. The glazed dripped over the "b” in absolutely so this letter had a 22k gold luster applied in that spot.

This mug was fired to a bisque (first firing) temperature of approximately 1960*F. After glazing, was fired again to 2160*F to create stoneware. A third firing of around 1,000*F occurred after applying the liquid luster top coating for adherence.
