Private Throwing Lesson 90 Minute Session - 4 Sessions Plus 1

These private sessions are 90 minutes in length once per week for 4 weeks. This can be scheduled consecutively (recommended so we can build on your skills) or scheduled as needed.

  This is the perfect class for a total beginner who might need an introduction to ceramics before signing up for a studio membership or for anyone who wants to work on specific topics/skills. This could also be a great option for kids to get some time on the wheel or hand building activities. 

Some topics may include:

• How to make specific forms (bowls, tall vases, double walled forms, trimming, mug handles etc.)
• troubleshooting any problems encountered during throwing

 Clay will be provided for the purposes of the lesson. you may glaze and fire any pieces that are made, however these classes are geared more toward practicing your skills or troubleshooting and making form is not the primary goal. 

Additional participants are $65 per person in addition to class price.
